@BobSuraFans@claire_hogle_ It doesn’t have anything to do with my personal feelings. Just trying to explain why people are having trouble connecting the dots. It’s not the ad. It’s just the beginning of the end of this era of fluff golf. Frankly it lasted much longer than it should have homie.
@ReteeFor3 Odds were excellent because they both represent the same thing: bullshit (mixed with a little competitive golf in LIV’s case). Sports fans ultimately want to see the most competitive players operate at the highest level. The PGA Tour is the clear winner there.
@Luke_Elvy The PGA Tour is a lot of things but at the end of the day it’s a meritocracy and the pinnacle of competitive golf in the world. And that’s why it prevailed over LIV and now also why we’re seeing the beginning of the end of YouTube fake golf.
@DreAllDay They didn’t care about the ad. They wanted out of the douche bro business and had an opening to get out. These companies sold out to a temporary movement based on fake clicks. This is their penalty. The bs era of golf is winding down. Lasted longer than it should’ve.
@LiveWellAndLong@brydog7474 If it was about growing the game and not about the money as they said then the same talent should put their money where their mouth was. That purse size is the true value of the tour and all it can support at the moment. If it can afford any prize money at all.
@BeyondAvgMick Getting happier by the minute. The PGA Tour forcing them out was a bonus. They should just be happy they got an extra 4-5 years before fading out. I’m sure they knew they were on borrowed time.
