#DefendDemocracyAidUkraine
Today democracy is at stake. China, Russia, Iran and their allies are trying to weaken
democracies all around the world, with infowars on social media, with corrupt politicians in Western parliaments and with weapons on the battlefield… 1/3
Vorsicht!
Albanien will EU-Mitglied werden.
Heute. 🇦🇱🇪🇺
Das darf nicht sein.

They think “differently” about Stalin, Mao, Putin, Xi Jinping, and of course about the Iranian regime. I researched for a couple of weeks for my new @inved_Europa article about fringe far left channels on social media. Please share 🧵

⚡️ Danish PM: The main reason why Ukraine is still standing is Ukraine.
“Many of us, have supported them, and that’s good. But everything has been too slow,” Frederiksen added.
Russian artillery shelling of Kherson killed a man. His wife and two daughters, aged six and three, were injured - they suffered blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
The family was at a children's playground at the moment of the attack.
Horrible.

General Ben Hodges – ehemaliger NATO-Oberbefehlshaber Europa – berichtet direkt.

Logistik. Treibstoff. Alles unter ukrainischem Feuer. Der Landkorridor wird progressiv unpassierbar. 🇺🇦

The moment of one of today’s Russian strikes on Kyiv.
I can see that fewer and fewer people are reading news from Ukraine. I understand that on a Sunday morning, people don’t want to read about war. They want to sleep a little longer, drink good coffee, and sit in the sun. I understand that. The algorithms on X limit content about war, destruction, and suffering. You have to make an effort to even see this information.
All of this is understandable on a human level. But unfortunately, if you remove Putin and the war from your information feed, they do not disappear from reality.
Putin is a sadist and a maniac. He is a threat to all of humanity.
There needs to be active resistance. News from Ukraine needs to be shared. People need to keep their focus.
Despite a sleepless night, I’m still here. And I’m grateful to everyone who continues to stand with us.
One day, we’ll drink morning coffee together in a beautiful, peaceful Kyiv.
According to Sviatoslav “Kalyna” Palamar, deputy commander of Azov’s 1st Corps, Oleksandr survived the siege of Azovstal, imprisonment in Olenivka, and torture chambers in Taganrog. His last known place of detention was SIZO-2 in Kamyshin.
His body was returned to Ukraine last autumn during a repatriation exchange. A forensic examination in Lviv later confirmed the cause of death: severe chest injuries, including fractured ribs caused by blunt force trauma.
And this is not an isolated case.
Ukrainian journalist Viktoriia Roshchyna died in Russian captivity. Her body was later returned showing signs of torture, including broken ribs and possible electric shock injuries. Several internal organs were missing.
Ukrainian POW Oleksandr Hrytsiuk was returned weighing around 50 kilograms, covered in bruises, missing fingernails, with a broken nose after months of torture and starvation. There are hundreds of stories like these.
This is what Russian captivity means for Ukrainians

Every five minutes there’s another drone, another explosion.
Even a year ago, it was never this bad.
I fall asleep to the sound of drones and wake up to the same constant whining overhead. It never really stops anymore.
And I cannot even complain much, because my medical point is not located on the first line.
For the boys on the first line, it is some kind of hell. Most people will never understand what it is like to live under that kind of constant pressure day and night. They come back from position for treatment and cry out in their sleep about drones. Sometimes they need to be reassured that they are no longer on the position anymore.
And you know what sucks the most? Even at the medical point, which is supposed to be safe, they still hear the same whining overhead and the same impacts in the distance. It becomes some kind of perpetual hell that follows them everywhere.
I cannot even provide a truly quiet or safe environment for them after they rotate out of combat positions.
Because now the drones fly here too. Constantly.
At this point, there is very little anyone can do except adapt. We camouflage the area as much as possible, limit unnecessary movement, and try not to draw attention.
Even putting up camouflage nets is done while enemy drones are flying overhead.
