The US State Department said on Friday it has approved a potential sale of counter-unmanned aerial systems platforms and related equipment to Kuwait for $1.98 billion.
The principal contractor for the sale is Anduril, the State Department said in a statement.
Met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al Sabah to affirm the United States’ commitment to the security of Kuwait and all our partners in the Gulf. The United States and Kuwait are united in our vision of regional stability and an open and free Strait of Hormuz.
@BizPwb3@AntiTrumpMusk@LeftyWinter I never supported any leftest ideas I’m
Merely arguing the economic point and your constant usage of logical fallacies. I don’t care about leftist ideas. Waste of time. Funny you think I have an “imam”😂
That's a classic tu quoque fallacy "you left Kuwait, so you can't critique US policy." My background or immigration choice doesn't invalidate arguments about risk pooling, administrative costs, or logical red herrings in the healthcare debate. Attacking the person instead of the point dodges the actual discussion.
I'm here as a student because I love the United States and appreciate what it offers. I appreciate it enough to want the best for it the strongest economy, the best healthcare system possible (one that actually works without forcing divisive cultural mandates), and policies grounded in sound logic rather than distractions. Wishing for America's improvement isn't "bitching" it's caring about the country I've chosen to study and live in.
Let's stick to the ideas next time.
Instead of actually dealing with whether jumping from AOC’s narrow point about cost savings and risk pooling to “government will force abortions and gender transitions as essential healthcare” is a real red herring or a legit slippery slope, you just went straight for me personally.
You mocked my Kuwaiti background with the “habibi,” told me to enjoy the waiting room, and basically acted like my nationality means I can’t call out bad logic.
That’s straight up circumstantial ad hominem mixed with tu quoque (“your country has its own problems, so shut up”). The gif is funny, sure, but it completely dodges whether the values/definition fight actually kills the economic argument.
Next time just engage the actual point instead of attacking the messenger. Logic books literally warn about this exact move.
It's a total red herring. The original point was pretty narrow AOC was saying that if you throw everyone into one big insurance pool (thanks to the law of large numbers) and cut out the private insurance middlemen, you'd bring down overall healthcare costs. The reply basically says "yeah, economically she's right on that..." and then immediately swerves hard into abortion, gender transitions, "transing kids," and what the left even counts as "healthcare" these days.
That whole pivot dodges the actual economic argument. Sure, the moral and cultural issues around funding those things are serious and totally valid reasons to hate a particular version of government run healthcare. But they don't actually disprove the narrow claim about risk pooling and trimming administrative bloat. It's like admitting that building public roads at scale is cheaper, then turning around and saying we shouldn't do it because some people might use those roads to haul stuff you morally object to. The subject just gets changed instead of actually dealing with the point on its own terms.
@Ansarii_rahim@Naharalhajri Muslim brothers😂 you only knew brotherhood when it’s your turn to get attacked. You weren’t so brotherly when you butchered the Syrians.
You and your pawns initiated a war of aggression on the people of Syria for a whole decade. You financed hizbollah since the 80s. The blood of a million and half Syrian is on your evil regime’s hands. The prosperity of Lebanon that you robbed could never be forgotten. Don’t act innocent now. Don’t back down from your decades old rhetoric. Own what you created. Killer be killed.
