@_Krahen_ @Jek_Korpen It's because according to the lore of the game, it's oxygenated human blood that for some reason doesn't coagulate. Mark actually talked about how much research he did because of it. It's supposed to be brighter red and looking thinner.

If Mark wasn't able to self-fund the US release, there would be no theatrical release at all.

@ecbo_aight @DiscussingFilm No, he didn't direct The Edge of Sleep. He didn't write the story for it, either. He was just hired as an actor for it, and later helped with editing and some other things. Anyone who claimed that TEOS was 'Markiplier's show' was just spreading misinformation.

What he meant when he said he doesn't have a team was that nobody is helping him with uploading videos to his channel, with making thumbnails, or with finding games.
