@lobotomyze I teach special education and I had a student tell me his dog died and had tears in his eyes. I consoled him and told him how sorry I was. I walked him to his car and told his grandma how sorry I was about their dog. She looked at him and goes ‘why are you telling people that!?’
Went to see a patient & the RN told me: “Heads up. Our patient is she/her.”
Patient at one point asked me a question, I replied “Yes ma’am.” She hadn’t quite looked at me until I said that. After she was fully engaged.
Here’s how long it took me to adjust: zero seconds.
@coach_gillan “Sometimes your biggest enemy is yourself.” Oof 💔 as a human with generalized anxiety disorder and one who needs daily anxiety medication, this was wonderful to watch. Seeking help is not a weakness, it is truly a strength. We all need help and I’m here if anyone needs it 💚
