i honestly don’t know what more she can do in order to get more votes. it’s frustrating to watch. i don’t feel like her role and the difficulty at which she has to score (and play make the way she does) is truly taken into account, much less from distance. scoring and assisting on 40+% of the teams points for a PG in the best league in the world, full of amazing talent, is something that should be celebrated. it’s excruciating, at least for me, to trust the opinions of the people in charge of voting. i think it aids in discrediting them more than it does help them appear as credible analysts. especially when none of them (that i have seen so far) voted for her for MVP.

if this truly was about the performance and numbers, the votes would be there. honestly, if she doesn’t get it this year, it feels like she might never get it. i think that’s an extremely unfair feeling. with that said, i have loved watching her (and kelsey both) this season. it’s truly remarkable and will be remembered historically for one of the greatest seasons two fever guards have ever had. that sometimes just has to be enough.

so for now, i’ll sit here and continue to update this huge site of all the records she’s broken in the span of three years. and there will be more. that’s where i go to understand the phenomenon that we get to witness for a league that has clamored for someone like her to come along and change it for the better.
