*1. Allah commands marriage and promises to provide for you:*
> *وَأَنكِحُوا الْأَيَامَىٰ مِنكُمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكُمْ وَإِمَائِكُمْ ۚ إِن يَكُونُوا فُقَرَاءَ يُغْنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ*
> "And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty."
> *[Qur'an 24:32]*
This is for you directly - if you want halal but fear poverty, Allah Himself guarantees rizq after Nikah.
*2. Marriage is from the Signs of Allah:*
> *وَمِنْ آيَاتِهِ أَنْ خَلَقَ لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا لِّتَسْكُنُوا إِلَيْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً*
> "And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility (sakinah) in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy."
> *[Qur'an 30:21]*
Allah made marriage to give you PEACE, not stress.
*3. Allah made you in pairs:*
> *وَمِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ*
> "And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember."
> *[Qur'an 51:49]*
*What Rasulullah ﷺ said about wanting to marry:*
> "O young people! Whoever among you can afford to marry, let him marry, for it helps lower the gaze and guard chastity." *[Bukhari & Muslim]*
> "There are three whom Allah will surely help: the one who wants to marry for chastity, the slave who wants to buy his freedom, and the one fighting in the path of Allah." *[Tirmidhi - Hasan]*
*Meaning for you:*
If your intention for Nikah is to protect yourself from haram and to complete half your Deen, then:
1. Allah will HELP you
2. Allah will PROVIDE for you
3. Allah will put BARAKAH in it
*NIKAH IN ISLAM - HALF OF YOUR DEEN* 💍
In Islam, Nikah is not just a contract between two people, it is a covenant with Allah.
Allah says:
"And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy." [Qur'an 30:21]
Rasulullah ﷺ said:
*"O young people! Whoever among you is able to marry, let him marry, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his chastity."* [Bukhari & Muslim]
And he ﷺ also said:
*"When a man marries, he has fulfilled half of his religion, so let him fear Allah regarding the remaining half."*[Bayhaqi]
Nikah is:
- Sunnah of all Prophets
- Protection from fitnah
- A door to rizq and barakah
- Tranquility (Sakinah), Love (Mawaddah) and Mercy (Rahmah)
Don't make it difficult. Islam made Nikah easy, but we made it expensive.
May Allah grant all those seeking halal, a pious spouse who will be the coolness of their eyes in this Dunya and their companion in Jannah. Ameen.

@shenikua Ameen wa iyyaki. Jazakillahu khairan for your kind dua sister. May Allah increase you in knowledge and light, and keep us all steadfast upon this beautiful path of mercy and truth. 🤍
I appreciate that you acknowledged the torture history. That's sincere.
But the claim of brutality is opposite of what history records. When Muhammad ﷺ fought, he set rules the world had never seen before:
1. Do not kill a woman, a child, an elderly, or a monk in his church.
2. Do not cut a tree or kill an animal except for food.
3. Do not mutilate bodies.
4. Treat prisoners with kindness - feed them what you eat.
Compare this to the wars of his time. When he finally conquered Makkah - the same people who killed his companions, after 20 years - he had an army of 10,000. He could have slaughtered them. What did he say? "Go, you are all free" [لا تثريب عليكم اليوم، اذهبوا فأنتم الطلقاء].
That is not brutality, my friend. That is the most temperate a servant of God can be when he has full power to revenge, yet he forgives. Even his enemies called him Al-Amin - The Trustworthy.
A temperate servant of God is not one who never fights oppression - even Moses and David fought. A temperate servant is one who is just and merciful WHEN he fights. That was Muhammad ﷺ.
Ameen ya Rabb. Jazakillahu khairan for this reminder sister. Wallahi we need this today - prayer is indeed our only peace in this noisy dunya. May Allah accept your duas and keep your heart tranquil always.
Beautiful reminder. May Allah envelop your home and ours in His mercy and make prayer the coolness of our eyes.
@StarSta96464571@shenikua My friend, I won't insult you back. My Prophet ﷺ taught me not to. I am sad for what you wrote, but I forgive you. I will just pray that one day Allah shows you who Muhammad ﷺ truly was - the most merciful man. Peace be upon you.
*PALESTINE - WHERE IS HUMANITY?*
In Palestine, a child goes to sleep hungry, not because there is no food in the world, but because food is blocked from reaching him.
A mother holds her dead baby, not because of sickness, but because a bomb fell on their small house while they were sleeping.
A father digs with his bare hands in the rubble, looking for his family. No machine, no help, just his hands and his tears.
What is their crime? They were born in Palestine.
Schools have become graves.
Hospitals have become morgues.
Mosques and churches have become dust.
And the world is watching in silence.
O World! If this happened in your country, would you be silent?
If your children were killed, would you call it self-defense?
Palestine is not just a Muslim issue. It is a human issue.
It is about justice.
It is about a people who have been under occupation for more than 75 years, denied freedom, denied home, denied life.
We are not asking for much. We are asking for humanity to be human.
*Stop the killing of children.*
*Stop the starvation of a people.*
*Stop the injustice in Palestine.*
If you cannot do anything, at least speak. At least pray. At least don't be silent. Because silence is also a crime.
From Nigeria to Palestine, we stand with the oppressed.
*FREE PALESTINE. SAVE HUMANITY.*

*WHY ISLAM ENCOURAGES EARLY MARRIAGE*
My brothers and sisters, Islam did not make marriage difficult. Our parents and society made it difficult.
Early marriage - when you are mature and able - protects your Deen and Dunya.
*1. EVIDENCE FROM THE QURAN:*
> Allah says: "And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty." [Quran 24:32]
Allah promises provision after marriage, not before.
> "And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy." [Quran 30:21]
Marriage brings Sukun (peace) that you cannot find outside.
*2. EVIDENCE FROM HADITH:*
The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
> "O young men! Whoever among you can afford to marry, let him marry, for it lowers the gaze and guards chastity. Whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for fasting will be a shield for him." [Bukhari & Muslim]
He also said: "When a man marries, he has completed half of his religion, so let him fear Allah regarding the other half."[Bayhaqi]
*3. SOME REASONS WHY WE SHOULD MARRY EARLY:*
1. *To protect your eyes and chastity* from Zina and Haram in this time of fitna.
2. *To have peace and mercy (Sakina)* in your heart.
3. *To increase Rizq* - Allah promised to enrich those who marry.
4. *To have righteous children* and build the Ummah early.
5. *To stay away from loneliness, depression and haram relationships.*
Islam says marry early, but with conditions: maturity, ability to provide (even small), and good character. It is not about big wedding, big money, or big house.
Let's make Nikah easy again. May Allah grant all our singles righteous spouses. Amin.
Allah says:
"O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you." [Quran 4:59]
The Prophet (SAW) said: "You must listen to and obey your leader even if he is an Abyssinian slave." [Bukhari & Muslim]
We obey them to keep unity, peace and avoid fitna. We do not obey if they command sin. We give them sincere advice (nasiha) privately, not insults in public. This is the way of Ahlus-Sunnah.
> May Allah guide our leaders and us. Amin.
1. Quran 4:59 - "Ati'ullaha wa ati'ur-Rasula wa ulil-amri minkum"
2. Quran 3:103 - "And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided."
Unity under leadership is part of holding to the rope of Allah.
*3/ Evidence from Sunnah:*
Prophet SAW said: "Whoever sees something from his leader that he hates, let him be patient. For whoever separates a handspan from the jama'ah and dies, dies a death of Jahiliyyah."[Bukhari]
And he said: "Religion is sincere advice (nasiha) - to Allah, to His Book, to His Messenger, to the leaders of the Muslims and their common folk."[Muslim]
*Summary of the teaching:*
- Obey leaders in ma'ruf (good).
- No obedience in sin.
- Be patient with their shortcomings.
- Give them advice privately with respect.
- Make dua for them, not dua against them.
-
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
*REMINDER TO MY MUSLIM BROTHERS AND SISTERS*
Let us be kind. First to our parents, then to everyone.
Our deen is a deen of kindness.
*From the Quran:*
*1.* Allah says:
> "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be dutiful to your parents. If one of them or both of them attain old age in your life, say not to them a word of disrespect, nor shout at them but address them in terms of honour."
> *Quran 17:23*
> "And lower unto them the wing of humility out of mercy and say: 'My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was small.'"
> *Quran 17:24*
*2.* "And We have enjoined on man to be dutiful and good to his parents." *Quran 31:14*
*From the Hadith:*
*1.* A man asked the Prophet (SAW): "Who is most deserving of my good company?" He said: "Your mother." The man asked: "Then who?" He said: "Your mother." He asked again: "Then who?" He said: "Your mother." Then he said: "Then your father."
*[Bukhari & Muslim]*
*2.* The Prophet (SAW) said: "The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the father, and the anger of Allah is in the anger of the father."
[Tirmidhi]
*3.* Prophet (SAW) said: "None of you will believe until you love for your brother what you love for yourself."
[Bukhari]
My brothers, if your parents are alive, please call them today. Smile to them. Make dua for them. Forgive people. Be kind even to those who are not kind to you. That is Islam.
May Allah make us among those who are kind to their parents and make our parents a reason for us to enter Jannah. Ameen
@shenikua Ameen ya Hayyu ya Qayyum. You have said it beautifully. Sheikh truly stood for authentic Islam - peace, knowledge and justice, and he never compromised on the truth. May Allah reward you for this kind dua and continue to preserve his legacy among us. Jazakillahu khairan.
The Story of Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmud Adam that still makes me cry 😭
Born in Daura in 1960, he memorized the Qur'an at a young age and became one of the greatest scholars Nigeria ever produced. A First Class graduate from the Islamic University of Madinah.
He was fearless. He never hid the truth. He was the first to warn Nigeria about Boko Haram when its founder, who was once his student, started preaching extremism. He told him to stop, but he was ignored.
On Friday 13th April 2007, while leading Fajr prayer in Dorayi, Kano, in Sujood before Allah, gunmen entered the mosque and shot him. He died as a martyr.
As Allah says:
_"And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision."_ [Qur'an 3:169]
19 years after, his voice still lives in our hearts. A good man never dies.
Ya Allah, forgive Sheikh Ja'afar Mahmud Adam and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. 🤲

Well stated, Your Excellency. Regional unity and economic integration remain the most practical path for West Africa's progress. Building bridges and prioritizing policies that directly impact the lives of our people is true leadership. Nigeria must continue to lead by example in ECOWAS. Well done, Mr. Vice President.
@ShehuSani Very true Distinguished Senator. It's long overdue. Africa with 1.4 billion people cannot continue to be excluded from permanent decision making on global peace and security. Until that imbalance is corrected, the UN itself will remain incomplete.
As-salamu Alaikum Ya Sheikh Dr. Yasir Qadhi, JazakAllahu Khairan for this beneficial Faidah. This is a perfect example of a Maslaha Mursalah and the wisdom of Uthman ibn Affan (RA). It also shows the beauty of the hadith "Follow my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided Khulafa after me." May Allah preserve you and increase you in knowledge. We benefit greatly from your lessons. Ameen.
Power, wealth and fame are temporary. What remains is how you treated people when you had the chance. Be humble in power, be forgiving in strength, and be kind when you can. That is true leadership.
