"Justice can sleep for years and awaken when it is least expected. A miracle is nothing more than dormant justice from another time arriving to compensate those it has cruelly abandoned" ~ Mark Helprin

Wishing all our Muslim brothers and sisters a blessed Ramadan.
Though I am not a Muslim, I stand in solidarity with you during this sacred month. Through my practice of intermittent fasting for health and fitness purpose, I have gained a deeper appreciation of the discipline and devotion Ramadan represents.
May this season strengthen our unity, compassion, and faith in one another.

One of my biggest accomplishments in life is that I have been able to build, mentor, help, and motivate thousands of Nigerians to succeed, both directly and indirectly.
Let me explain.
You see, I haven’t done badly for myself. I’ve made money in business, I’ve invested well enough that I don’t have to work again, I am well educated (currently on my PhD), I’ve had a decent political career, I’ve got kids, I’m widely traveled, I’ve got good health, I’ve written bestselling books, etc.
Despite all these, none of these “achievements” is as fulfilling as seeing the results of what I have been able to sow into people’s lives.
There are those whose lives my mentoring and teaching moved from the ground floor to becoming millionaires in dollars. There are those whose careers were built on the foundation of my financial support, which gave them the cushion to reach the top.
There is also a band of successful tech entrepreneurs in Nigeria today who testify that my mentorship guided them to success.
People literally walk up to me to tell me how they were going nowhere in life until they came across me or my teachings, books, tweets and support. I especially enjoy it when this happens at clubs and bars, because that usually means they’re paying for my drinks 😁😁😁.
Sometimes I want to stop, especially when some charlatans, particularly on social media, mostly because of politics, open their mouths to say rubbish. But then I decide to keep going, because there are many more out there who are counting on meeting mentors, teachers, and supporters like me.
So, I’m not going to stop being Akin Alabi. Get used to seeing me help others succeed, and seeing me happy.
Oloye Akin Alabi
Jagun Olubadan of Ibadanland.
Senator Ladoja was installed as Jagun Olubadan October 1, 1993. Exactly 32 years later, he will be King. Wishing Jagun Olubadan @akinalabi long life and Prosperity to also see this day in two or three decades.
I had the privilege of introducing our keynote speaker, Comrade Julius Malema @Julius_S_Malema at the Annual General Conference of the NBA in Enugu earlier today.
Hey guys I was on Masoyinbo and I am proud to have achieved the titular aim of the show. I did not speak ONE WORD of English throughout! I should have done better with a couple of questions(Olootu didn’t want to help as I was on 1m haha) please watch and tell me what you think
Whenever I’m home in Ibadan, I love standing outside just to say hello to people passing by. The smiles, quick chats, and warm greetings always make it such a beautiful and refreshing experience. This was earlier today before heading to Abuja via Lagos.
There is always something to learn from successful people, even if they came from influential families. Never say “because hin papa dey okay wetin he wan teach”? Everyone enjoys some form of privilege. Your parents sending you to school is a privilege that many others didn’t have
