Even the Prophet’s own cousin, Ubayd Allah ibn Jahsh, left Islam for Christianity in Abyssinia — that’s recorded in early Islamic sources like Ibn Ishaq. But blood relation doesn’t change truth. The Prophet ﷺ himself said to a man: ‘Your father and my father are in Hell’ (Sahih Muslim). Wrong is wrong, even if it’s family. Isa AS came with the original message; Muhammad SAW brought its final, complete form. Choosing an earlier, altered version over the last revelation is a personal choice — it doesn’t invalidate Islam.
