Why is @HMRCgovuk sending emails about Making Tax Digital #MTD to random Self-Assessment people who have NO rents and NO self-employment? They never had. This is 2nd email. This worries people and wastes time. Campaign was supposed to be targeted! @MartinSLewis @HMRCgovuk #HMRC

HMRC real-time CGT service fails. Guidance says non-housing gains for 2024/25 can be declared this way. Avoids client paying a full tax return fee. However CGT system blocks 2024/25. What now with no UTR? @HMRCcustomers #CGT #HMRC

Big one here. 5.00 in. Chancellor didn't remove the Two Child Benefit cap, its not about Child Benefit. Much bigger - it's about Universal Credit. Two child benefitS cap is removed. So if on UC you now WILL get extra money for child 3, 4, 5 etc. Very unpopular change!

@HMRCcustomers I am trying to register a landlord for #SelfAssessment by printing a paper SA1. (They are having difficulty getting Personal Tax Account). Fill in ALL their details then get this error. Wait a few mins, same error.

How very unhelpful of @hmrc to issue VAT demands to our accountancy firm saying "Your VAT payment..." is not paid. When in fact it is the VAT of a client. Hard to identify the unnamed client. #HMRC letters always give client name. Thankfully via the VAT number we sorted this.

What's wrong with the #HMRC CGT registration service? Client in with me, created her Personal Tax Account, then wanted a CGT on Property account. Constant errors, on different browsers and mobile. @HMRCcustomers please fix.

@HMRCcustomers Hi Anas. She set up personal tax account in my office. Passed ID verification. Then tried to set up CGT for property account. Nothing worked.
