I’ve heard that Ferrari have taken inspiration from Porsche for their VIP scheme. If you want to buy a Luce you’ll also need to buy a €10k Ferrari branded iWatch 🤷🏻♂️
@TykeSteve@adriawildlife@HullTeslaModel3@ian4downton At 150k miles, the wheels will still be on. So we get an answer to the question, “drive it till the batteries fail”, not “drive it till the wheels fall off”
@TykeSteve@adriawildlife@HullTeslaModel3@ian4downton 3 plus years ago, batteries didn’t have 8 year warranties. Which is why prices of 2nd hand EVs tanked.
The question remains - will the battery last long enough for the wheels to be driven off the car? What’s your best guess? - wheels fall off first, or battery gives up before.
@TykeSteve@adriawildlife@HullTeslaModel3@ian4downton Jeeeeez. The op was about a 3 year old car, the reply was he’d drive his 3 year old until the wheels fell off. You said new EVs have 8 year warranties. But the car is already 3 years old in the story So won’t have an 8 year warranty and is already 3 years old so might only do 2.
