On Republic Day the Community Health Officers and ANMs from the intervention HWCs were recognised for achieving Kayakalp and showing exemplary performance at the HWC level. The continuous support being provided by the CInI team was also appreciated by the district administration.
Community Engagement is an integral aspect of CInI’s Health Systems Strengthening Program that strives to improve the availability and quality of Comprehensive Primary Healthcare for approximately 15 lakh population through Model Health Centers.
Prathmik Swasthya Sampark Karykram (PSSK), an integral component of CInI's Health Systems Strengthening Program, was conducted at the Govt. Medical Colleges of Bhopal, Vidisha, Shahdol and Sagar under the Knowledge Management Network.
CHOs and Staff Nurses from the MP-CG region organised National Cancer Awareness Day in the districts. The day was focused on creating awareness of early detection, risk factors, common cancer types that affect the quality of life and the significance of seeking medical support.

Ranjana Mishra, an Anganwadi Worker from HWC Harri, Shahdol district, revamped the Udita corner to provide affordable sanitary napkins. The district consultant from CInI mentored her during VHNDs to restart the corner, which motivated her and resulted as safe relief for the women
CHO Durga Pal from Model HWC Ballhor, Umaria did a noble initiative where self-assembled first aid kits were distributed to 5 bus drivers travelling from Manpur to Umaria on their regular routes. With the team, she also mentored the drivers on how to use the kit. #healthcare#NHM
Ahmedpur Khaigaon HWC in Khandwa district became the first HWC to have Ayushman Ambassadors. The Community Health Officer oriented them on their roles and responsibilities. Their ongoing work on providing IFA tablets to adolescents and Hb reporting is a helping hand to the CHO.
Pumping Relief!
Water supply was a major issue for Gadi Padariya HWC, Panna district. After the CHO & CInI's joint efforts, supported by district stakeholders, it is the first facility to have a 24*7 water supply. They have their own well and a water pump installed in the HWC.
Winning Maternity!
CHO from HWC Kali Talai, Sheopur district opened the gates of the delivery point at her centre. Overcome the greatest challenge through public awareness and ongoing support given by the CInI team. Now the quality maternity care is accessible in the tribal area
The G20 Summit delegates paid a visit to the Model HWC Ghoora of Chhatarpur district. CHO Dr Atul Kumar Gupta demonstrated the best practices to the team. The staff acknowledged CInI’s constant throughout support in developing a model facility. #healthcare#wellness
As part of our initiatives to promote peer learning, The CHOs of 4 HWCs visited the Atmanirbhar Model Centre Ghinochi of Chhatarpur, where they learnt & observed the various aspects of record keeping, IEC display, drug shelf & maintaining the ANC, PNC rooms done by the Peer CHO.

Day 7: Swasthya Kendra Hai Sathi, #nationalnutritionweek2022 Community Health Officer took the initiative to involve the village Sarpanch at the sub-centre, called out the challenges which need to be improved, encouraged them to take nutritious food and adopt healthy behaviours.
