HxH forecast

HxH fan building a probabilistic model to forecast the manga’s return. Following Togashi’s progress, drawing occasionally, and surviving the hiatus.

@4han0608 謝謝😊有任何要求都歡迎提出，我一直在完善模型。另外，根據你的啟發，我打算去統計一下富堅老師的post時間戳，推斷一下作息時間，看他是🐦還是🦉

@Un4v5s8bgsVk9Xp Model forecast remains Feb 2027. It's 95% done for the next batch!

(3/3) Yorknew was never just about whether Kurapika could kill Chrollo. Chimera Ant was never just about how Meruem would be defeated
With so many major characters aboard, Togashi won't let them pass through this arc unchanged or without revealing something new about who they are

[HxH forecast @HxHforecast]

(1/3) Kurapika’s backstory was published as a standalone special in 2012.

Ten years later, the Troupe’s childhood entered the main story through Nobunaga comparing the newly formed Heil-Ly to the early Spiders.

@roieuu I’d measure it in chapters rather than years. It's Hiatus × Hiatus, after all.

From Ch. 102 to Ch. 395, I doubt Togashi deliberately planned to reveal it ~300 chapters later. He built the characters and their histories deeply enough that the story eventually led him back there.

[HxH forecast @HxHforecast]

(2/3) The flashback doesn’t only explain the Troupe, but also reframes the Heil-Ly, which lets the past interpret the present.

That more integrated storytelling is one reason I doubt the Succession Contest is only about choosing a surviving prince.

@chemo_kkk Absolutely true. That’s exactly the challenging and fun part in my opinion.

*Note: this week's shift is bigger than usual. A bug meant issues already on sale (21 Sep–12 Oct) weren't being ruled out. Fixing it moved the median a week later. Expect smaller weekly moves from here.

[HxH forecast @HxHforecast]

Starting a weekly HxH forecast update.

Jump comes out every Monday. If HxH isn't in it, that week is ruled out, so the Ch. 421 forecast drifts later until Togashi posts more progress or Shueisha announces a date.

This week: median 19 → 26 Feb 2027

@annieng409 I've wanted to draw something like this because Pakunoda said that Chrollo always brought flowers to the church. But, of course, I can't draw this well ❤️

@hugbit_jp It’s so difficult. I am still struggling…

Perfect. Now I know where to host the HxH forecasting model.

@porcupineii Good question. I’m not confident that Ch. 421 will beat GTA 6—the model’s forecast currently falls in Feb 2027. But I’m still optimistic that we’ll see a Togashi progress post on Ch. 429 or Ch. 434.
