@DoorDash_Help ordered a burger & rings at 7:16. Food got here at 8:32. Rec'd ice cold food. $6 credit offered for unreheatable food & no credit for delay. I could understand something that could be reheated, but a burger, come on. Bad policy. Sub cancelled.

@swaggsheila1 @NinaWil83565015 @ThanksCancer @ElephantsTea I was diagnosed at 43 and creeping up on 50. I'm not sure how I feel about being considered young in either case. It's more like a cancer weird spot in terms of age buckets. But it was young for cancer. 😁

@ogcancerpatient This is exactly how you know no one knows what cancer looks like. The number of times I heard this is only equalled by the you look fine = nothing is really wrong with you assumption.

@ogcancerpatient Tech held my hand and I near about broke it squeezing her so hard from the pain. When they finally got me to surgery onc, she was furious with them. I was a mess. Every time I go to get a mammogram, I remember that experience like it was yesterday.

@ogcancerpatient Machine. No angle worked. Probably 25 times smashed and nearly crying when they left me to try to figure out what to do. Went back to ultrasound. I told the doc the gel would hurt me because I was busted wide open. He didn't believe me. Looked under. Realized i was actually.2/3

@TheeQueenG97 @ask_aubry 100% this. As a cancer human, that was the hardest thing, in and outside of treatment. You change during, and the residuals stick around. After treatment, you are changed forever in many ways, too. But you look ok, sorta, so to them you are the same you. It's sad but real.

@DeityShe @NancysPoint @ThanksCancer Thanks and likewise. It's hard to have to stare down the unknown as forcibly as when you're in treatment. Talks like this hopefully help frame the varied experiences we all have in treatment.

@NancysPoint @DeityShe @ThanksCancer I have mild neuropathy, after 5 years out, but I just iced my feet and hands. I didn't know it was a thing, but it was common talk in infusion. No booties or gloves. Trying to keep the bags of ice on was a struggle because of the benadryl infusion.
