Neelam Kumar Khaire, an Indian man with a profound fascination for snakes, sought to demonstrate that these creatures are not inherently aggressive unless provoked. His mission involved breaking the world record for coexisting with venomous snakes within a glass enclosure. He assembled a collection of 72 snakes, including 68 highly venomous species, and confined himself with them for a duration of 72 hours. Remarkably, he emerged from this challenge with only four snakebites, none of which proved to be fatal. Khaire maintained that these bites occurred inadvertently, as he never intentionally disturbed or harmed the snakes. His purpose was to emphasize the beauty and friendly nature of snakes, advocating against their needless destruction due to fear.
