ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ

ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಉಪ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗೆ ಸೋಶಿಯಲ್ ಡೆಮಾಕ್ರಟಿಕ್ ಪಾರ್ಟಿ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ (SDPI Karnataka) ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಯಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಇಂದು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ನಾಮಪತ್ರ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಈ ಕ್ಷಣವು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದು ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಭಾಗವಲ್ಲ, ಇದು ಜನರ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನ, ನ್ಯಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾನತೆಯ ಹೋರಾಟದ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಪುಟ್ಟನಂಜಯ್ಯ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮುಜಾಹಿದ್ ಪಾಷಾ, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕೋಶಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಅಮ್ಜದ್ ಖಾನ್, ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಫಯಾಜ್ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಎ.ಆರ್. ತಾಹಿರ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರಿಯಾಝ್ ರಿಝ್ವಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಅನೇಕ ನಾಯಕರು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದು ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ನನ್ನ ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರ, ಶೋಷಿತರ, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದವರ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಧ್ವನಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಹಲವು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ನಾನು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದ ಜನಪರ ಹೋರಾಟಗಳ ಮುಂದುವರಿದ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ಈ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಒಂದು ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ರಾಜಕೀಯದ ದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಜನತೆಗೆ ದೊರಕಿರುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಾಗಿದೆ.

ನ್ಯಾಯ, ಸಮಾನತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಗುರಿ. ಜನರ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ಒಂದು ಹೊಸ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗೆ ನಾಂದಿ ಹಾಡುವ ಸಂಕಲ್ಪ ನನ್ನದು.

A Step Towards Change in Davanagere South

As the candidate of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI Karnataka) for the Davanagere South Assembly by-election, I have officially filed my nomination today. This moment is not just part of the electoral process; it marks a significant step toward a new chapter in the struggle for self-respect, justice, and equality for the people.

On this occasion, State Vice President Puttananjayya, State General Secretary Mujahid Pasha, State Treasurer Amjad Khan, State Committee Member Fayaz Davanagere, District President A.R. Tahir, District Vice President Riyaz Rizvi, along with many leaders, party workers, and well-wishers, were present and extended their support.

My candidature is not for any one individual; it represents the voice of the common people of Davanagere—the oppressed, the marginalized, and all those who stand for justice. As a continuation of the people-centric struggles I have been part of over the years, this election is an opportunity for the people to move toward alternative politics.

ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಮತದಾರರ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳಿಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರ ಅಪಾಯ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ Special Intensive Revision (SIR) ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಬಂಗಾಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಮತಾ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ಜಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ಅಪಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ನಿಲುವು ತಳೆದರೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ @INCKarnataka ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮಾತ್ರ ಮೌನ ವಹಿಸಿರುವುದು ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿ.

ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 7ರಂದು 12 ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೇಂದ್ರಾಡಳಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ಅಂತಿಮ ಮತದಾರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ SIR ಆರಂಭವಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಬಡವರು, ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರು, ವಲಸಿಗರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಮತಹಕ್ಕು ಕಸಿಯುವ ಈ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡದೇ ಇರುವುದು ಜನಪರ ಆಡಳಿತದ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕದಡುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ಜನರ ಮತಹಕ್ಕು ಸಂವಿಧಾನಾತ್ಮಕ ಹಕ್ಕು. ಅದನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಆಡಳಿತದಲ್ಲಿರುವವರ ಮೇಲಿದೆ.

ಬಿಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಘಟನೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಳವಳಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಗಂಭೀರ ಚಿಂತನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆಯುಷ್ ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಪತ್ರ ವಿತರಿಸುವ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವೇಳೆ, ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ನಿತೀಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಮುಖದ ವೀಲ್ ಎಳೆದಿರುವ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗಿ ಹರಡಿವೆ. ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ತಡೆಯಲು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರೂ ಕೂಡ ಈ ವರ್ತನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಗೌರವಕ್ಕೆ ಧಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವ ಇಂತಹ ನಡೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಅಸ್ವೀಕಾರಾರ್ಹ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಮಾನಕಾರಿ.

ಇದು ಕೇವಲ ಒಂದೇ ಒಂದು ಘಟನೆ ಎಂದು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಅವರ ಅಸಹಜ, ಅಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ಅಸಹಾಯಕ ವರ್ತನೆ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಹಲವು ವೀಡಿಯೊಗಳು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇಂತಹ ವರ್ತನೆಗಳು ಕೇವಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗತ ವಿಷಯವಲ್ಲ ಅದು ಅವರು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಸಂವಿಧಾನಾತ್ಮಕ ಹುದ್ದೆಯ ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿತನಕ್ಕೂ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಕಳವಳಕಾರಿ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ, ರಾಜಕೀಯ ವಲಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಆಡಳಿತ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಇಂತಹ ಘಟನೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೌನ. ಈ ಮೌನವೇ ಇಂತಹ ವರ್ತನೆಗೆ ಅಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಗೌರವ, ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಿಧಾನಾತ್ಮಕ ನೈತಿಕತೆ ಕುರಿತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟ ನಿಲುವು ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿತನದ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿಯ ರಾಜಿ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಹುದ್ದೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವರ್ತನೆಗೆ ಉತ್ತರದಾಯಕರಾಗಲೇಬೇಕು. ಗೌರವ, ನೈತಿಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂವಿಧಾನಾತ್ಮಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದು ಕೇವಲ ಮಾತಿನ ವಿಷಯವಲ್ಲ; ಅದು ಕಾರ್ಯರೂಪದಲ್ಲೂ ಕಾಣಬೇಕು.

The incident that recently took place in Bihar is deeply disturbing and calls for serious reflection.

During a public event for the distribution of appointment letters to AYUSH practitioners, visuals of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar pulling the veil of a woman have gone viral on social media. What is even more alarming is that this occurred despite the Deputy Chief Minister attempting to stop him. Under no circumstances especially on a public platform—can behavior that undermines the dignity of a woman be accepted. It is completely unacceptable and humiliating.

This cannot be dismissed as a one-off incident. In recent times, several videos showing the Chief Minister’s awkward, inappropriate, and unsettling behavior have sparked widespread public discussion. Such conduct is not merely a personal matter; it directly concerns the dignity and responsibility of the constitutional office he holds.

What is even more troubling is the silence surrounding these incidents from both the political establishment and the administrative machinery. This silence appears to indirectly legitimize such behavior. A clear and firm stand is necessary to uphold women’s dignity, human values, and constitutional ethics.

There can be no compromise when it comes to accountability. Those holding public office must be answerable for their conduct. Upholding dignity, morality, and constitutional values should not remain mere rhetoric; it must be reflected in action.

Bazpe Town Panchayat Election in Dakshina Kannada District: SDPI Releases First List of Candidates, Holds Workers’ Meeting, Many Join the Party

For the Bazpe Town Panchayat elections scheduled to be held on December 21, the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) has officially decided to field its candidates and has released the first phase of the candidate list.

At an important meeting of party workers held under the chairmanship of Husainar Bazpe, President of the SDPI Bazpe Town Panchayat Committee, several people joined the party, strengthening SDPI’s presence in the Bazpe Town Panchayat election as a strong political force.

Public confidence in the party has increased, as SDPI’s elected representatives have been serving the people honestly and without corruption. Working on the path of equality and justice, without discrimination based on caste or religion, the SDPI model of governance has become an example for other political parties.

Ensuring public welfare, the development of wards, and the eradication of corruption are the key objectives of SDPI. Therefore, it is the responsibility of all voters and party workers to ensure the victory of SDPI candidates.
