We are delighted to announce that the wet test for the first unit of the Suki Kinari Hydropower project has successfully commenced, just in time for Eid ul Adha!
Another landmark was achieved on 28th Feb 2024 at Suki Kinari Hydropower Project.
The impounding of the reservoir commenced with regulating the closure of spillway gates. The water level will be raised day by day.
The total storage capacity is 13.45 million cubic meters up to the design reservoir operating level.
The storage will be done in stages. In the first stage, the water will be stored up to 2212m from the bottom lower gate, and the second stage, it will be stored up to 2233m

Pakistan's strategic project "Diamer Bhasha dam" has been under construction since 2019 & is scheduled for completion in 2028. This multi-purpose dam will be used for water storage, flood mitigation, diverting water for irrigation, and vitally for the generation of cheap energy
