@WrestlingMark16 The WWE is actually pretty smart about it They send people to NXT on lower contracts, and based on their performance, those wrestlers might eventually earn a main roster deal — but one that’s probably not as lucrative as if they had gone straight to the main roster from the start
@WrestlingMark16 But that phrase carries far beyond wrestling — “Never give up in life, no matter what happens” — and then giving up in the end sends the wrong message. IMO

Sure, story-wise it makes sense that the one who coined “Never give up” eventually does give up.
