@inkfycreates Wow. That means we can't talk positively about the game anymore. Thanks for this insightful commentary. I am pretty sure Cyberpunk is the only acclaimed title with cut features and this hasn't happened to any game ever.
@bartonovopolis It is also funny that a company made a shooter for the first time in their history and it was better than any Rockstar shooter released in the last 20 years.
@JasonfromGTAVI@radggon 1. People spend a lot of time on menus
2. You can't use the argument "focus on the little details" when important parts of your game fucking sucks. No small details don't matter when the shooting feels like ass or the quest design is mind numbingly boring
@JasonfromGTAVI@BoldfaceJames And it isn't rightfully priced at 100 dollars. Content that was created during game's development being sold separately for extra 20 dollars is scummy as shit. Poor R* couldn't just put bunch more car customisation for free in an 80 dollar game. They had to charge 20 dollars.
@JasonfromGTAVI@radggon@BoldfaceJames The point is it makes the city feel populated. You are going to be driving past them 99% of the time and I care more about what the game does during that 99 percent than the 1 percent I might walk beside themAnd stop lying through your teeth lmao. Slightly more density? RDR 2?
@JasonfromGTAVI@radggon@BoldfaceJames You are right. My bad. It is immersion breaking. I mean, the fact that the game doesn't take into account the possibility of me approaching a random NPC out of possible thousands and create a special dialogue for it is ridiculous. CDPR should do better next time.
@JasonfromGTAVI@radggon@BoldfaceJames I am not saying that no. What I am saying is if we are comparing which games have better NPCs and one has significantly better NPC density and variety and the other one has some dialogue lines that you probably won't even notice, the former is more important.
@JasonfromGTAVI@AngloRoam@BoldfaceJames It took 3 years for Cyberpunk to add cop chases but we are waiting for good shooting and quest design from a GTA game for the past 2 decades, when will that be patched in?
@JasonfromGTAVI@BoldfaceJames Everyhting you said is subjective. Also using the core message of cyberpunk argument when the game you are praising is a GTA game is funny as fuck. Bad launch is one thing, consistently pushing anti consumer practices for years is another and only Rockstar has done the latter.
@JasonfromGTAVI@radggon@BoldfaceJames Yeah it sucks that Cyberpunk sacrificed insightful interaction such as that for NPC density that actually made the open world feel populated. I wish they sacrificed them so that the 5 NPCs that populate a whole district could comment on me wearing nice clothes.
@Merk_Gang Probably not as good as it is now because most of the bugs wouldn't be there, so there would be less backlash, and they would have less of an incentive to fix some of the underlying gameplay problems.
@MOVIESforya@purplescrubb@tennova_@learn_to_fly_VI "extremely popular" and it is a fringe online group. Nothing you say ever makes sense. It is good that Rockstar has a fanbase of sub 50 IQ neanderthals, makes selling shit from butt much easier.
@MOVIESforya@purplescrubb@tennova_@learn_to_fly_VI Most of the mods for Cyberpunk are skimpy clothing mods for the photo mode, if you think they are the one keeping the game alive, then there is no hope for you
