@Ultimat23Dragon @BlackFlagMatter Man had an average of 10.8 (only worse than Stewart 2009), as many top 10s as Johnson had in ANY of his seasons, and double-digit top 5s, as many as his teammates combined top 10s in fact. On SHR, only 2015 Kurt Busch, 2009 and 2012 Tony Stewart have achieved double-digit top 5s.

@BlackFlagMatter Briscoe has been consistently finishing midpack with very few issues. He has consistency he just needs cup practice and potentially a better car. Almirola was able to get a win on speed and has had a handful of other fantastic runs like at Nashville

@BlackFlagMatter I'd go with an SHR guy, probably Custer. His dip in performance is palpable as is everyone else's but they're quick to forget that Harvick was seeded 16th in playoffs and was only a handful of points out of the RO8 and may've well made it without the Chase Incident.

@BlackFlagMatter Not to mention Harv's sitting with the third most T10 finishes, 3rd best average finish, and in total points he's 7th. For context, that's where he finished in total points in 2012. He's still on track to improve from his worst total-poins position finish in the last decade.

That said, compared to the likes of Sanaki and Maribelle, I'd say Ares made out like a bandit

@Pheonixmaster1 @M4SK_ED That's a problem with him in a general sense, there's not much that can be done to fix vantage sweepers. I don't think that, in practice, the -2 CD turn 1 would make him any better than he is, especially with what he got as his refine. It would just give him a Galeforce build.

@Pheonixmaster1 @M4SK_ED They get more damage on their eternally charged specials and the 2 CD is a non-issue thanks to the likes of Velouria. This refine turned his already very good weapon into an insanely good weapon.

@KamrenKSG @JimboDaBoi1 @NASCAR Considering how low the rest of SHR apart from Harvick has been for the majority of the year, it definitely was, emphasis on was. It's probably not any more, figuring out what was wrong allowing Briscoe and Almirola to start the climb back to decency...especially with Almirola.

@KamrenKSG @JimboDaBoi1 @NASCAR the 10 team has been able to hit their marks more consistently as the season has gone on, and the 4 team has been consistent all year, with some rough patches here and there but one of the best drivers the sport has ever seen has wheeled it with great success.

A team doesn't drop from 8th to 23rd in an off-season, let alone 2 more drops from 1st to 10th and 12th to 24th, without something going wrong in the equipment department. Briscoe has wheeled the shit out of his car where possible, mostly on road courses.

@NASCARONFOX Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Larson, Denny Hamlin. Even with Harvick's off performance this year he's still one of the best in the field and has proven his worth given SHR's less-than-good equipment for the majority of the year.
