FROM PUBG MOBILE CHAMPION TO ₹70 CRORE FOUNDER

Yogesh Yadav, better known as Celtz Roxx, was once one of India’s top PUBG Mobile players.

In 2020, he captained Team Celtz to the PMPL South Asia Season 1 title, overtaking TSM Entity on the final day.

But after reaching the top, Yogesh eventually walked away from competitive gaming.

Before becoming a founder, he had already built a serious esports career.

• Moved to Dubai at 18 to pursue gaming professionally

Gaming wasn’t a hobby. It was his job.

Then, in 2022, while still competing, Yogesh started RoarX.

Initially, he was managing both gaming and the business. By late 2023, his focus had shifted completely to building RoarX.

The company operates in mobile accessories, targeting a familiar gap in the Indian market: consumers often had to choose between expensive branded products and cheap, unreliable alternatives.

RoarX aimed to build reliable products at prices that made sense for Indian consumers.

The numbers today:

₹50 Cr reported revenue in 2025
344% YoY growth
40 lakh+ units sold
300+ direct & indirect employees
₹70–80 Cr 2026 target
Available across Flipkart, Blinkit & Zepto
Also builds products for Flipkart SmartBuy

A major part of its workforce is women.

So why leave gaming when things were going well?

Yogesh says he never stopped loving the game. He had competed at the highest level, won championships, travelled and made a living from esports.

But eventually, he felt he had had his run.

Staying simply because people knew him as “Roxx” wasn’t a good enough reason.

So he moved on.

His advice to aspiring gamers is straightforward:

“Give gaming a serious shot. But give yourself a realistic timeframe.”

Work extremely hard within that window. Measure your progress honestly. And keep building skills outside the game.

If you’ve genuinely given it a shot and the results aren’t coming, walking away isn’t necessarily failure.

Sometimes, it’s the beginning of the next chapter.
