This is especially true in the first round or two of revision after you’ve finished drafting OR if you’re already querying and getting passes after requests. Most agents are editorial now, so there’s probably a bigger issue lurking.
When revising, think like Elizabeth Warren, and aim for big, structural change.
Seriously, whomever you’re voting for, too often I see writers who think revision means changing sentences. You might need to break down your story’s plot arc or character motivation. #writetip
