@NephilimSecrets Hi Nico! All my efforts at the moment are going towards Hyphen 2, which will fix the crashing issue. If you need to access your books in the meantime, you can download the backup version of Hyphen.
👋 Thanks everyone who let me know about the iOS 16 crash! Two quick updates:
- I'm going to put out a viewer app in the within the next two weeks that'll let you backup and view any data Hyphen has stored
- Hyphen 2's beta will follow shortly thereafter!
👋 If you've been dealing with the iOS 16 crash, as a short-term measure a new build is available via TestFlight that will let you export your library: https://t.co/bEE1ZAG1xY
(Joining the TestFlight *also* means you'll know as soon as Hyphen 2's beta is ready!)
@SinaToossi (To clarify: the version of Hyphen that will let you backup your books is in review; Hyphen 2 is still in development but moving closer to completion!)
👋 Hyphen is not dead — quite the opposite in fact; I'm still plugging away at Hyphen 2. Looking forward to having more updates for you soon. Thanks for being patient with me!
@LifeAfter45 Thanks for checking in ❤️ I’m still committed to Hyphen. In all honestly, the reality is that life keeps managing to get in the way, but I’m pushing through it!
Having had my nose to the grindstone these past few weeks working on Hyphen 2, I wanted to take quick break to share a recent milestone I've been working towards:
Hyphen 2 is now capable of importing 3000 ePubs in less than 2.5 seconds!
That's *light-years* faster than Hyphen 1
@herzigma Hi Josh! This is a known issue, and will be fixed in the next release of Hyphen. In the meantime you can download the Google Drive app as a workaround — I've sent you a DM with more info.
