@durbinwatson09 @lindyli Oh I'm sorry, I thought we were looking for solutions to actually help protect our children from crazy people with guns.
I guess you were really only looking for solutions that takes rights away from law abiding citizens...
@NewtownAction It would only cost about 4 billion a year to have armed security at every school in America. If you're not talking about this as a possible solution, you are not serious about protecting children.
From a radio listener this morning, and he makes a great point:
So in light of the Nashville school shooting, I did some research. They estimate it would cost $4B per year to have an armed guard at every school in the US.
We have allocated at least $75B to Ukraine. That is 18.75 yrs worth of school guards.
Online it said the shooter was going to another school but changed because of security on campus.
Metal detectors or gun laws would have not stopped thisโฆ.armed security would have. Not sure why districts donโt put this into place. There are parents that are ex-cops or military that would take turns and provide for free.
@davidhogg111 Why not have armed security at every school? Why aren't you talking about that as a possible solution? If you gave a damn about protecting kids you would include this in your talking points
@lindyli The tranny terrorist didn't use an ar-15. You want to take a right away from every law-abiding American, have you even stopped to consider putting armed security at every school in america? We somehow came up with $700 billion dollars in a day to send to Ukraine
@JoeAndTheScot@davidhogg111 Instead of taking a right away from the people, why not post armed guards outside of every School in america? We do it with banks, we do it with hotels, we do it with Congress. I'm sure after coming up with $700 billion dollars in a day for Ukraine we can figure out a way
@BBCWorld Why not have armed Personnel at every school? 700 billion dollars should about cover it and we just miracle that money over to Ukraine like it was nothing
@SergeantAqGo Shame on YPU for not supporting the hiring and employment of armed guards at every single School in our country.
Shame on you for serving this country and completely missing the point.
