Ssemujju Kassim was attacked by robbers on July 7th. He survived brain surgery at Mulago Hospital but can't speak or walk.
Now at Mengo Hospital he needs physiotherapy yet bills have drained everything. Any donation helps him heal and return to his loved ones.
A very good friend — Stanley has been working with this bus company, he’s sadly lost his life in this accident. Stanley was the one guy I would call when I needed anything from or to Gulu. Unfortunately his phone number was not picked and I can’t even find a family member. May his soul rest in eternal comfort , my heart is heavy-laden with sorrow ☹️ 😭 🕊️
There’s an SME in Kireka, yes, just here in Kireka that processes eggs into powder & liquid to extend the lifeline of eggs and to make other egg derived products like mayonnaise.
Another of the projects @euinuganda has helped with financing. Their story blew me away 🙌🏽🙌🏽

🚨 UPDATE FROM THE LATEST VIDEO:
It shows the same young man sitting on the floor inside the bank looking shaken and scared. The poster claims this was among his final moments.
According to his family, they were told to pick up his body from Mulago mortuary on Thursday and buried him in Mityana.
This directly contradicts the police statement that no such incident was reported at Kira Road Police Station, and the earlier claim that he is still alive.
The family says he was beaten after the manager accused him of fraud from months back. Many serious questions remain unanswered.
What exactly happened that day??
Killed in Mob Attack at DTB Bank Ntinda ( @dtb_uganda )
It’s alleged that, this young man, lost his life on Monday following a mob attack at DTB Bank in Ntinda, according to accounts from witnesses, he had gone to the bank to withdraw money, after completing the transaction, a dispute reportedly arose when the bank manager accused him of having previously obtained money from him through fraud some months back & instructed security guards to stop him from moving out
as he attempted to leave the bank premises, a confrontation came up, boda boda riders in the area allegedly mistook the situation for maybe bank gun point robbers & descended on him, subjecting him to a severe beating
It’s said that, customers who were present at the bank intervened & rescued him from the mob before taking him back into the bank, @PoliceUg were later called to the scene but sadly, he succumbed to his injuries before he reached police station for statement
no one deserves to lose their life at the hands of a mob, allegations should be investigated by the police & courts, not decided through violence.
N.B I deleted this post yesterday, after DTB bank head office contacted me to pull it down, they assured me to issue out official statement on wat happened today morning, which they didn’t full fill, thus posting it again today evening ( I pledged to always speak for ordinary people (Abapakasi)
