@MrsLund1 Council tax for our flat in New Quay has gone up to £454 per month, for 12 months. So we just bought a flat in Spain where the equivalent tax is about £250 per year.

And before the haters pipe up, it was for sale for months before we bought it and no locals wanted to do it up.

Listening to @gstringermp on Talk Radio and he is talking a lot of sense about the Chagos Islands and about postponing council elections. What’s surprising for me is that he’s a Labour MP, so I hope he has a lot of influence within the Labour Party to stop this idiotic giveaway.
