Everyone has a dream, almost nobody has a plan.
I'm guilty of this myself.
I find myself at work planning all my different side hustles and ways I can make enough money to buy back my freedom, then I get home and take no action.
The cycle repeats.
Whats the solution?
There are different answers to that question.
For me, its scheduling. I have many different ideas that "I'll start soon", but I've been "starting soon" for years.
When I come up with plans at work, I now write them down. Then when I get home I have an hour scheduled which is dedicated to fleshing the ideas out, coming up with a plan, and scheduling time to work through that plan.
If I don't schedule, I don't do.
Its easy to get lost in the wonderful world of the internet, scroll for hours and then think "sh*t I was going to do xyz tonight, I'll have to do it tomorrow" then forget all about it.
To do lists suck, unless they are paired with a schedule.
@IAmAaronWill Consistency and discipline are what set you apart. Most people will, as you say, quit the second they hit a bump in the road.
The sailor who weathers the storm, reaches the promised land.
@MoTownPhenom I lost my first MMA fight primarily due to cage control against a far heavier guy. I didnt make excuses. If I had better technique I could have gotten out and won the striking. It sucks, but its an effective strategy.
@IAmAaronWill Its a lot easier to find excuses than it is to find solutions.
Our society has created a generation of people who want everything handed to them.
It may take months, years, decades even, but if you are willing to put in the work, results will follow.
@KSI "Waaaa people dont like my song waaa"
You are on the same level as the chavs in the park with a speaker. Stop complaining, not everyones gonna enjoy your stuff.
Cold Showers are my way of doing something difficult first thing in the morning. They arent the key to success, but they're an excellent way of getting the ball rolling and building discipline. They also help with staying calm in stressful situations. They arent the key, but they are useful.
@THATBOYMMAGURU As a fighter myself (amature) I genuinely appreciate the grappling. But neither Belal or Merab have the entertainment factor that Khabib or Islam bring. They both do the minimum to get the win, they don't bring the ferocity that strikers or dagistani grapplers do.
Solid 45 minutes of MMA sparring this morning, great way to start my Sunday with some hard work. Quick shower, High Protein Breakfast and then on to some deep business work! #stayhard
@ninadrama I'm an adult who's twitter is dedicated to positive thinking, and working hard to get ahead in life (which by the way is how Guru got where he is) and I'm siding with Guru. Which negates you're point about his fans being negative little kids.
Honestly I've barely watched the guys videos until this. But the hypocrisy is unreal and I have to side with the guy who ground his way to success while working a regular job, over the former nudey model who uses softcore porn thumbnails to entice her 15 year old audience to click.
It is pure comedy that she is perfectly okay with Sean Stricklands deadly serious insults, Jon Jones' litteral wife beating and previously had a career where she was directly paid for nude photoshoots, and yet she would "never desicrate [herself]" for money and you're a POS for making a stupid joke that people will forget about in 10 minutes. They would have, that is, if Nina hadnt make a mountain out of that particular mole hill!
If you find yourself living for the weekend, hating your job, you are wasting 1/3 of your life doing something you hate.
So in the other 1/3 that isnt dedicated to sleep you should be carving a life worth living, and maybe make enough profit to reclaim that other hated 1/3.
If you want respect, why don't you start by transforming yourself into someone who deserves it? If you dont have enough self respect to look after yourself, then why do you deserve to be respected by others?
A month ago Joe Rogans podcast was reuploaded/republished to youtube after his spotify deal ended. The comments are full of chronically online people spouting conspiracies about shadowbans and Joe being silenced.
The internet is an echochamber, don't let it rule your mind.
