I know your childhood very well, including some poignant details, probably more than any of your biographers, including Walter Isaacson. You know mine too, probably more than my own husband, St. G. I would say you talked 80% of time about your childhood, and I talked 20% of time about mine. However, in recent years, I started sharing my childhood more. Without you, I wouldn’t be talking much about my home town, Kanoya, or my birth place, Tanegashima. These are not particularly hip places in Japan, like Yokohama or Kanagawa.
Thanks. You have superb understanding and appreciation for art, although you don’t express it much. Especially your visual sense is outstanding which is very well reflected in Tesla car design and Space X rocket design. You are scientific, literal, and artistic.
Me and mother side relatives at age 5 or so, in Tanegashima before my family moved to Osumi peninsula, Kagoshima prefecture. I call Kanoya city in Osumi peninsula where I spent most of my childhood/adolescence, my home town. Tanegashima where Japan’s largest space center is located is my birth place.
Re: An apple doesn’t fall far from the tree
Just let you know I saw the real time civil war type situation today. But it was in a small scale, contained with control. You once told me that you had seen and witnessed the ugliest ugliest, and ugliest things as a child/infant/teenager. With some special emphasis of disgust, unusually. Therefore, compared to my imagination, things with you now are not too bad. I wouldn’t particularly call it a progress. But it was like “An apple does fall far from the tree.” I wrote this to let you know I understand you and your past. It is OK. Steve Jobs was not great either in this dept.

Re: USAID
I got your argument very clearly.
USAID, fully developed by US democratic government over some decades, a far, far, far left organization, casually and meaninglessly consuming precious American tax payers’ money. It was worth demolishing at some point even at a cost of many vulnerable lives (outside the US.) I got it, my friend. No more discussion on this particular political topic. Your X looks much better. Please explain the logic and theory of what you do, and are doing a little more, rather than simple, simplistic name calling or attacks. Your childhood friend prefers that way.
