VaCo and VML are again trying to kill the Firefighter Cancer Presumption and PTSD bill while we are fighting this global COVID-19 pandemic locally. With zero sense of irony, they are claiming they are doing it to protect Virginia's first responders.

Pictures of the Glengyle Ln house fire from yesterday in Sterling. Firefighters Rizzo and Plunkert are treating the rescued pitbull while awaiting animal control. The dog is expected to make a full recovery.

The Firefighter PTSD bill HB438 is on the brink of failing in the House Appropriations Committee. VACO/ VML are trying to kill the bill because saving money is more important than stopping First Responder suicide.

We know politics are dirty and there have been some dirty campaigning with this election, but it's unacceptable to take down and steal campaign signs, especially at polling stations. Several of our signs were taken down before polls opened this morning around the county.
