Oct. 1 we remember our fallen sisters & brothers who paid the ultimate sacrifice. 49 names will be engraved on the wall this year, Brother Gerry Saxton St. Catharines Local 485 is one of those
remembered and greatly missed by the Fire Service,
Plt 2 and especially by Merritton.

Labour Day, the 1st Monday in September, has been a statutory holiday in Canada since 1894.
It is a day of rest and, for unions & labour activists, a day to celebrate the accomplishments of the labour movement & the benefits of having a union at work.
