The opening ceremony of the 20th IALA Conference yesterday was a success, gathering almost 600 participants and brilliant speakers presenting an overview of the IALA activities over the past 5 years.

The World-Wide Academy Pre-Conference Seminar on Digital Future – Digital skills was held on Sunday 28th May, aiming to discuss the current state of marine aids to navigation training and capacity building efforts and some of the skills needed to address the challenges ahead.

The 2-day Heritage Seminar held in beautiful Rio de Janeiro was a success, with enlightening presentations and a high number of participants reaching 94 delegates. It was great to see so many people interested in Heritage! 🤩
