The Lakers took a hard loss to the Trojans, with a final score of 5-4. The Lakers out hit the Trojans, with doubles from Pickett and Kvigne and singles from Enter, Abernathy, Akers, and Wheeler. The Lakers take on Ellsworth in a must-win game tomorrow at 12pm.

The Lakers fought hard for two wins today. Abernathy led the day, going 4-6 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs. Wheeler added her third home run of her career to add 2 RBIs. The Lakers return to play next Friday, traveling to Cedar Rapids for the Regional tournament.

The Lakers split with the Cougars. Eight Lakers tallied hits in game one, with Pickett and Miller going 2-3. Kvigne earned the win in the circle, striking out 4. Pickett and Abernathy went 1-2 in game 2, while Wheeler drew two walks. The Lakers play again at home tomorrow.

Our last sophomore is Morgan Kolodzienski! MK is from Ellsworth, Wisconsin. She will be attending Indiana University-Columbus to study Elementary Education.

MK is currently hitting .250 with a .966 fielding percentage. She has a career runner caught stealing percentage of .333.
