@DefiantLs I have always thought that you can always find the trash on every race, but there are a lot of badass motherfuckers in each race. We can't forget those guys jusy because media poisons us with the hoodlums.
This picture was taken 16 years ago, the day I sold my ML63 AMG back to the dealer and had to finance a car because I was running out of money.
For years, I’d been making 5–6 figures a month, living a lifestyle that felt limitless…cars, jewelry, travel, multiple homes. But after a tough trading drawdown, it all became unsustainable. I sold my Rolex and other possessions just to stay solvent and keep trading.
Success in trading is one thing, sustaining it is much harder. That moment forced me to cut expenses, get lean, and survive long enough to fight another day. Eventually, I went on to have more big runs, but I was wiser and better prepared to handle them.
I keep this picture as a reminder: never take anything for granted. In trading, the goal isn’t just to win, it’s to last. No matter how much you make, when times get tough, money can disappear fast. Those hard moments can be the best teachers.
