Lesson learned: "idle" doesn’t mean free on AWS

I deleted my EC2s but left an Elastic IP allocated.
AWS charged me $0.005/hr for something I wasn’t even using.
It wasn’t about the $0.37...it was the reminder that teardown is part of the build.

Missed some EC2 instances and a NAT gateway—cost me $$.

Key takeaways:

Check Billing Dashboard for $0.

Use Resource Explorer.

Delete NAT Gateways separately.

Glad I learned this now so I can be better!

After starting over and diving into coding....
I'm making a short project after I finish a module so I can actually practice without guidance. If I need help I'll have AI walk me through it without giving me the answers. I learn and retained a lot the last 3 days.
