During some recent in-house improvements, a very interesting document was uncovered from the IAS archives.

This soil method from 1982, detailing how to measure total nitrogen in soil extracts, was written by some of the fantastic soil scientists

who have worked at IAS over the last 35+ years. It was one of the original Irish Sugar methods, which was continued at IAS when the laboratory was set up in Bagenalstown. The document will now take pride of place in our offices,
