Debt via a loan the athletic department alone can afford to pay off, is far different than the accumulating debt ISU is getting into, with virtually no way of paying back. Pretty simple financially literacy, no?

It’s tough, because while I do agree- the reality is 1 or even 2 matchups probably does not get any substantial increase in participation

But at the same time, for a sport that was nearly on the Olympic cutting block, only at ~20% of division 1 schools, routinely seeing good coaches step away for outside opportunities and schools closing programs. Is the sport of wrestling in any spot to potentially be turning away eyeballs?
