This might be the dumbest take I’ve heard from someone with such a supposedly “legendary status”... a “national treasure” whose biggest contribution to Nigerian youths these days seems to be BetKing adverts. 😭

At 26, Ronaldo was already a Balon d’or winner and Champions League winner and he wasn’t just scoring. He was an elite dribbler, creator, playmaker, free-kick taker, aerial threat and football’s biggest clutch player.

Haaland is an incredible goalscorer who depends heavily on top creative midfielders, but saying Ronaldo was simply “like Haaland” is football terrorism.

And Mr. Betking himself ?
0 world cup goals, 0 world cup assists, 0 UCLs, 0 league title, 0 Ballon d’ors and 0 CAF African Player of the Year awards. Nigeria's greatest talent and still couldn't win it... Even his own career couldn't match the standards he's using to judge Ronaldo. His cousin brother Iwobi is better than him.

You can have Messi as your GOAT. Nobody cares.

But trying to diminish Ronaldo to validate your choice ? We wouldn't take that!
