Lying in bed pondering: Is space tourism our very near future?
Not speculation, @SpaceX is actively planning uncrewed Starship missions to Mars for late 2026 launch (6-9 month journey, arriving 2027). With next 24 months of advances in reusability and testing, this builds real momentum toward civilian access. Mars remains the most inhabitable target in our solar system due to resources and viability.

How many people would it take to reach Mars if we connected their veins end-to-end? Wild question, right? But it’s totally calculable.
If the average person has about 10,000 miles of veins, and Mars is at least 33.9 million miles away, the answer is roughly 3,390 people.
