Abhishek in the last 2 yrs has scored over 1500 runs at a SR of 193 !! He became the no 1 batter in ICC rankings in the meantime.
Sanju just before his slump in Asia cup had 3 100s and he played 3 ATG innings in knockouts.
Ishan scored tons of runs in SMAT, VHT to comeback in the side, scored a 100 against NZ and had a phenomenal world cup.
How do u tell anyone of these, ok u have done your job now we don't need u. This is not how u wreck someone's confidence and definitely not the right message that will be sent. And it creates fear and insecurity in the dressing room. This is not the right environment u would be creating. No player thrives in such a radical scheme of things. They definitely deserve a long rope. Its very unfortunate on Vaibhav's part but its debut is just around the corner. GG is an easy punching bag but he is right.
