I know it's only one part of the strategic partnership, but I'm curious how much these scheduling alliances actually impact the NPI metrics across different sports in D3.

What's stopping the Protect College Sports Act from being challenged in court like everything else the NCAA is involved in? Seems like this will inevitably be appealed to the Supreme Court, no?
This may have already been reported, but the 2027 D3 men's basketball Final Four and Championship will be played on Friday, March 19, and Sunday, March 21, instead of Thursday/Saturday. #d3hoops
A few college realignment notes to end July:
NCAA D3: St. Lawrence will add women's flag football and women's triathlon for the 2027-28 academic year.
Valley Forge will cease operations before the 2026-27 academic year starts. UVF competed in the United East Conference.
At what point do the Atlantic East and United East Conferences merge?
AEC has 4 members left; UEC has 13. Between the two conferences, 16 schools have left since 2020 (6 for AEC and 10 for UEC). I don't expect that trend to stop with enrollment issues lingering in the future.
Valley Forge competes in the NCAA D3 United East and sponsors the following 12 sports.
Men's: Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Outdoor T&F, and Volleyball
Women's: Basketball, Cross Country, Soccer, Softball, Outdoor T&F, and Volleyball
βAfter much prayer, careful consideration, and consultation, the Board of Trustees of the University of Valley Forge has made the difficult and painful decision to suspend academic operations at the conclusion of the Summer 2026 semester."
