@refugeingrief My future as I expected it to be is no longer. The future that I had predicted is no longer in my grasp. I can't get that back. That is the hardest thing. That is what I am trying to come to terms with.
@refugeingrief He's still here. Just in a different form. I talk to him in the present. It takes a different way to see him. AND I am just starting to realize how blessed I am to know that I can and am able to communicate with him.
@refugeingrief Just bc we're not always showing it doesn't mean we're not grieving. Grief never ends. We just learn to integrate it and try to live life as fully as possible. We weave grief into a new way of living.
