@maenyraa@DUR1NSREIGN The man was ready to throw hands lol. I think he could definitely beat Dunk here if they squared up. The guy wasn’t called “The Anvil” for nothing
@whysojellie@Koe_ween@All_Lee24 I agree with you. I love Garland’s work, and the fact that he’s actually played the games is a huge plus. Being backed by A24 is an even bigger plus, but it still makes me a bit cautious. I just hope he can navigate the complexity of FromSoftware’s lore without compromise.
@All_Lee24 Instead of talking about gameplay, art direction, mechanics, or what actually makes the game fun or interesting for everyone, the marketing turns into this weird ideological flex. This is the same way I felt about the Lords of the Fallen devs, just completely unprofessional IMO
@All_Lee24 I really hate it when game devs market their game as “Oh look at us! Our game doesn’t have this and that! We’re anti-woke!” It feels less like they’re confident in their actual product and more like they’re trying to score points in a culture war.
@All_Lee24 Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it. From my experience at the gym, people are in their own little world and mind their own business. You’re fine. No one is going to judge you for trying to improve or for making a small mistake. Try not to overthink it.
@Ludvicus@All_Lee24 I agree. I feel like this would work better as a TV series, something like Game of Thrones, so the lore and characters could really be fleshed out on screen. That said, it’s A24, and the director has played the game multiple times, still though I’m cautiously optimistic, lol.
