As a former basement victim, I can relate with the unimaginable pain our man is experiencing. From this video grab, I can easily tell that heโs been slapped and possibly kicked by his captors. Sad! ๐
We had a productive conversation with members of the @NUP_Ug's Seattle Chapter in Washington State about the state and fate of our motherland, Uganda. Honored by the warm welcome we received, and the comradesโ resilient commitment to the struggle for freedom back home. We shall overcome!
Women in the struggle know the pain of sleepless nights and the fear that grips a motherโs heart searching for answers from a system that never provides them. The late Monica and The late Sarah carried that agony with dignity and admirable strength as they waited for justice that never came until they lost their own lives. These two are a symbol of mothers, wives who refuse to forget their loved ones and who fight with courage. May their courage live with in us all and may it live on forever!
I have received the sad news of the death of Ms. Sarah Nantumbwe (1st image), a wife to comrade John Ddamulira (2nd image) who was abducted from his spare parts shop in Kisekka Market in November 2020 and has never been seen again. She has died carrying the pain of not knowing what became of her husband, a pain that many families of our disappeared know far too well.
Ms. Nantumbwe's death has brought back memories of Ms. Monica Nabukenya (4th image), who also passed away just a few months ago in November 2025 after enduring a similar ordeal following the abduction of her husband, comrade Kibalama Johnbosco (3rd image), on Martyrs Day in June 2019. It's a pity that both ladies spent years hoping and searching for answers that never came!
May Ms. Nantumbwe rest in eternal peace.
@KingLeparaZA@BBCWorld@MavoWorld Your country is in the hands of whites. Instead of fighting for whatโs rightfully yours youโre here fighting over breadcrumbs over fellow blacks. You have lost sight of the fight.
@Arnold_Von_Mash@xtr_africa I would understand a Mexican being discriminative or racist toward other races but a fellow African to kill a fellow African on African soil. Itโs abhorrent!!
