PC gamers won't buy a PS5 to play its exclusive games because their PCs are "superior" but they have no issue buying a Switch to play its exclusive games?
@davidscottjaffe@carpefuturum What part about Faye is less glam? Is it her body, what she’s wearing or her face?
I ask because and correct me if I’m wrong but I remember in a past interview or convo you talked about how Kratos was designed to be kind of ugly/animalistic and not traditionally handsome.
@Osher1One Except that you played through both 2018 and Ragnarok and you saw for yourself they did not reunite. Faye is dead and her journey through the afterlife is happening parallel to the events of 2018 and Ragnarok.
@DestinLegarie It’s a good thing we are getting the original trilogy remade from the ground up then yes? All bases are covered as far as I’m concerned.
Uhh… did yall forget we are still getting the original God of War Trilogy completely remade from the ground up?
How the fuck can any of you be upset about ANYTHING?
We get a fresh new experience with Laufey AND we still get vengeance filled Kratos REMADE.
I’m loving it!
@zaintariqq0@SynthPotato She isn't just some ex Riot dev, she was originally at Santa Monica from the very beginning and worked on all God of War games except Ragnarok.
Here’s what I know will be at the State of Play… obviously Wolverine most likely closing with GTA VI, considering the marketing partnership and how close we are to release this is a given. I also believe the expansion to Monster Hunter Wilds will be there as well.
It's State of Play day! Watch today at 2:00pm PT / 5:00pm ET / 11:00pm CEST. The show features an extended look at Marvel's Wolverine gameplay. https://t.co/Un624S8i9Z
A lot of you guys are setting yourselves up for disappointment again with the State of Play tomorrow.
The only reason it appears to a “big” one is for two reason and two reasons only…
Opening the show with Wolverine and closing the show with GTA VI. Everything between is meh.
Two things, from my POV:
1.) Why would Xbox execs continue to earnestly listen to the very core fans that already enthusiastically helped lead the brand down the primrose path, uncritically supporting every botched move they’ve made for the last two generations, no matter what? (The ABK deal is the king of examples, but there are many, many others.)
2.) There will be no comeback for Xbox, as far as it being a leading hardware ecosystem. There’s simply no realistic win condition within the traditional framework: No future for the brand in consoles, obviously, but if they make an open PC, people will just buy games on Steam, and if they make a closed PC, it will be more niche than the Series machines by an order of magnitude.
If anything, they owe it to their fans to put their cards on the table and admit the position they find themselves in. They want core Xbox players to become PC players. They want to be fully third party. Considering the current conditions, that all makes sense. Cool. Say it, do it, and move forward. Enough waffling.
Create-a-Class has evolved to maximize customization. For the first time in Modern Warfare, select an Operator and a unique Killstreak set for each loadout.
Build loadouts for every playstyle, game mode, and more. Here’s a work-in-progress preview.
@GoodGameKofi@oliver_drk I don’t see a reason. They reached a point where they realized they can no longer keep things exclusive so I see no reason why Gears E Day would be the exception. It’s coming day and date.
XBOX will still show competitive platform logos at XBOX Games Showcase.
Matt said “We'll be very clear about what platforms a game is coming to and want to continue the precedent.”
No news on Project Helix or the XBOX strategy.
XBOX Showcase will focus on the teams and games.
@Mr_too_soon I hear you. I’m a sucker for Modern Warfare. Always been my favorite and whenever they stop releases for it I stop buying COD lol. So I haven’t played a COD since MWIII so I’m hyped for this.
@Mr_too_soon Nah we never officially got a an MW 4. You may be thinking about Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare that came out back in 2007 but since it became its own thing like Black Ops this is officially the 4th entry of the Modern Warfare series.
Hope so. People are sleeping on the potential for this one. Cory Barlog is fucking talented and the concept of playing as one of the last Giants who first wielded the Leviathan Axe is fire. Think of how much more expanded this will be in terms of combat and traversal.
