@JohnnyNash77 One misconception when saying "Mongols massacred 90% of Persia/Iran's population" is that most people think about Iran's modern borders when they hear this, but back then it was the Khwarezmian empire and most of the massacres happened in cities like Bukhara, Samarqand & Khwarazm

@AliMajusi@MahyarTousi What you did here is exactly akin to o an ignorant racist American saying Chinese people are the same as Japanese people or Thai people because they all look "Asian" to him. "Asian" in racial categories is also a made up term, that makes no sense outside of US society's context.
@AliMajusi@MahyarTousi First of all "brown" is a made up term that makes no sense outside of US' extremely racialized society. Most Iranic people have clear distinct phenotypical features that non Iranic people typically lack.
@movseszeytunci@Amoli_Torabi@goyatollah That has more to do with geopolitics, than with religion. Even if Iran was atheist, christian, Jewish, Sunni or Zoroastrian it would still be geopolitically beneficial for Iran to side with Armenia. Religion or even ethnicity has little to do with it.
