IBA in partnership with UCLH is organising a major health research awareness event at Jean Stokes Community Centre. The event is targeting local community to meet researchers to learn about current medical research and try new technologies. See you with your family and neighbour.
On 8th May 2023 we celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III with our users and their families. It was a joyful event. Mayor Marian Spall and others from Islington Council were present and delivered a message from His Majesty King Charles. All enjoyed food, quize and fun.
We have just finished our health awareness programme for local BAME communities. Thanks to Healthwatch Islington and UCLH for their partnership support, we have organised 8 events covering physical and mental health issues benefiting around 20 women in each events.

28 Feb 2023 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm we offer an event on Health, Blood and Diet. Experts from UCLH will talk about this and answer your questions.
Specialists from University Collage London Hospital (UCLH) will come to facilitate this workshop so that women are more pro-active in looking after their family’s oral health as part of our drive to make prevention of diseases as a tool for improving the quality of life.
Islington Bangladesh Association is organising an event for local BAME women to raise awareness of Oral Health and its effect on other health issues such as Diabetes. Tuesday 13th December at 11:00 am and the venue is Hugh Cubitt Centre, 48 Collier Street, London N1 9QZ.
