@ryber I started to build something at dsmhack several years ago, but then came the current system and nobody was interested anymore :(

For those of you who missed it, evidence of the Trump Dalek making it's way through Westminster 😂 #TrumpUKVisit #TrumpBabyBlimp #DrWho #sciencefiction

@ryber Sadly AWS services really suffer from trying to use the hammer to put in screws....:( Except Dynamo....just don’t use that :)

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@ryber We just patch the old one :) unfortunately not everyone applies all the patches. Apparently P13, P15 and P19 are problematic to merge for some.

So, as you've probably heard, here in San Francisco our Mayor died. I have a few thoughts about Ed Lee I'd like to share, especially because his obituaries are so poor.

@DavidWells @brianleroux They just don’t get how valuable this could be for onboarding developers. Bake an AMI with a the tools/workspaces on it, use that to back new editors. Maybe use the same AMI for Jenkins slaves. Like using Vagrant for dev envs.

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@secca @Honda I didn't mind the looks until you mentioned the rear wheel well. Now I can't stop looking at it :p

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@ryber I think I still have a sparcstation somewhere. I loved those things in college :(

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@wycats @littlecalculist @15lettermax @tarasm @cdiddy42 @oligriffiths @tomdale With Ember Cli and Ember Observer it's stupid easy to add things. I never have the weird NPM issues. It's like Mac Vrs Pc again. Just works

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@wycats @littlecalculist @15lettermax @tarasm @cdiddy42 @oligriffiths @tomdale I work at a large enterprise company that is buried in the React Redux world. It's painful, especially after having built an Ember based app

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@ryber @CatSwetel Well at least you have my wife to cut her recital music now :)

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@willywos I've been in Chicago since Tuesday :( Hope it went well :)

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@willywos @DevOpsDSM Wish I could make it, good luck!

[Steven Nelson @IBAsnelson]

@ibuys Holy crap, I must have missed my liberal memo, I didn't know we were trying to tear down western civilization!
