🔍 Russian POWs Describe a Very Different Reality Than the One They Were Told

Two Russian soldiers captured by fighters of the SKELIA Regiment describe how their views changed after entering Ukrainian captivity.

For years, Russian state media has promoted claims that Ukrainian forces mistreat prisoners. According to these POWs, their experience was the opposite. They report being treated in accordance with established procedures and international standards.

The captives also describe a different problem inside the Russian military itself, alleging that abuse and mistreatment of Russian soldiers often originates within their own chain of command.
