Something I’ve been thinking about with @axisrobotics x @BinanceWallet lately.
When the new tasks drop, they seem to disappear almost immediately. I understand that there are limited slots and everyone wants to get in early, but sometimes I see tasks being completed within just a few seconds.
And honestly, I don’t know how that’s possible for some of the tasks.
I’m not saying everyone doing this is using bots, because I obviously can’t prove that. But as a real user, it does make you wonder.
Some of these tasks take actual time to read the instructions, control the robot, make the movements correctly and submit. So when someone is already done almost instantly, it feels a bit discouraging for people who are genuinely sitting there and doing the work manually.
I also noticed Axis mentioning that suspicious activity can be reported, which is good. But I think there could be even more transparency around how these situations are handled.
Maybe some kind of fairer task allocation, a short human verification, or clearer detection of automated activity could help make sure the people actually doing the tasks have a fair shot too.
I really like what Axis is building and I just think the task drops should feel fair for everyone participating.
A lot of people say Axis tasks are hard, so I recorded a short video showing how I actually finish them.
The first thing I do is filter the difficulty to Easy.
The instructions, movements, and directions are all right there on the screen you just have to follow them.
Some of the keys that helped me the most:
↑ Up = move forward
↓ Down = move backward
← Left = move left
→ Right = move right
E = move up
D = move down
Q / W = roll
A / S = pitch
Z / X = yaw
N = save checkpoint
B = go back to the last checkpoint
R = throw away the attempt and start again
Once you understand the controls, it’s actually fun and super easy.
Also follow @axisrobotics and turn on notifications. They drop useful updates pretty often.
