Twitter group for people interested in ICAPs - intensive comprehensive aphasia programs/programmes. Twitter account started by @katiemonnelly #AphasiaICAP
I've just registered this publication - what people with aphasia think of ICAPs. Wonderful to have a patient perspective paper on ICAPs. "(1) the ICAP is hard work; (2) the impact of the ICAP on communication is noticeable, and (3) relationships “make” the ICAP" @ICAPcommunity
Big news! The Big Sky Aphasia Program is offering THREE treatment options for Summer 2023: ICAP, mICAP, & non-intensive treatment. Check out our application link for details! Applications due by March 3, 2023.@ICAPcommunity#aphasia

One of the benefits of our online ICAP- we can accommodate people from all over the country & even internationally- the 1 hr time difference in Europe makes it easy for someone to join. Contact us via the link in our bio if you would like to find out more #icap@ICAPcommunity
Themes from ICAP day 2- importance of formulation, the cohort, project groups, long term support groups, CPT, more specific therapy and independent tasks, working across services to deliver ICAPs, students, 3rd sector, dual diagnosis, upping the dose in practice. @JeanRutter4
@aphasiologist1@ICAPcommunity It is an awesome collaboration- the patients/families loved having a complete med review and expertise about how meds might be impacting rehab and recovery!
Attending #ASHA2022 in NOLA? Come check out this great talk about interprofessional collaboration with PharmD students in the context of an ICAP! @ICAPcommunity
such a stimulating day on the nuts and bolts of #ICAP planning & delivery @clairefarring20 @JeanRutter4 LOADS of ideas for implementation ! Look forward to hearing more developments @ICAPcommunity
So many wonderful ICAP ideas on these post-it-notes at the end of the course. Pink = plans for now, blue = plans for next 6 months, blue = future ICAP dreams. Lets keep the conversation going @ICAPcommunity
What a brilliant & fitting way to end our ICAP study day✨Thank you @JeanRutter4 & @clairefarring20 for leading these fantastic ICAP study days and for sharing your knowledge and expertise! Very exciting to hear about future #ICAP projects in the works🎉 @ICAPcommunity
1/n 🧵What I learnt from #ASAMelb22 oral presentations. I didn’t see other posters apart from ours. ICAPs are effective in Tele format & in person but thought to be difficult to implement in public hospitals. @ICAPcommunity
Today, we will be announcing our first results from our LIFT ICAP RCT at the Aphasiology Symposium of Australasia with @JadeDignam Dave Copland et al. A long time in the making. @ICAPcommunity
Listening to @DrAnnieJHill present the preliminary findings of the fully tele-delivered ICAP, TeleCHAT, at the @aphasiacre seminar. The results are *very promising* 🤩🤯
Impairment, functional and quality of life all significantly improved.

Thread 11 @GenevieveVuong Excited to hear her speak for the first time. Findings about an ICAP delivered online. Of relevance to @NELFTAdultSLT who run these regularly now and all @ICAPcommunity who are interested #IARC2022
At #IARC2022 Dr. Suzanne Beeke is describing the importance of working at the conversation level and communication partner training while our families with aphasia in the Big Sky Aphasia Program ICAP are also brainstorming about their own communication strategies. @ICAPcommunity
